HOLLY. After our first meeting, and was impressed with my work, DV8 officially hired me as their videographer for their upcoming club events. Also, FangImageStudio saw my wedding videos and said i have the potential! Guess what? meeting her this wednesday!!?? somebody stab me?

It is currently 1:49am and i think I’m done editing for tonight this morning on December Rose and Karl Excellent’s upcoming mv directed/filmed/edited by myself. Indeed, it’s a lot of work and many people tell me i shouldn’t push myself too hard and should by now find a partner to help me out. But you can find the answer right through my eyes. If you have worked with me once, you’ll understand. Hope you buy lots of things on boxing day!!

Oh hello, guess what? Got officially promoted! Hard work pays off my friends. However, believe me, it feels weird to be me because im the youngest guy there but with great responsibly and power. I’m also planning to buy my own knife since my sifu/teacher said its about time. Other than that, other good news such as meeting a new client next week for her wedding in 2013 and having a collaboration with Disco Thug on a new music video. should update very soon on that.

I’m sure you haven’t notice but i’ve closed my facebook again. why? hai…lets say things happen for a reason and i didnt felt like explaining to the people who kept on sending me msg on facebook. but anyway. problem solved and i can now reopen my facebook[for now] Guess what? i did a bit of shopping lately and bought a new professional printer(469$)+new camera bag(119.99). and i just printed my first dvd cover! its awesome! now my clients wont complain that my dvd are lame. haha. other then that…guess i’ll write more next time =)

So much opportunities lately…lets put film projects a side and read a bit about my other half. Some may know, i work at sushi palace, a sushi restaurant known for its la carte quality but serves all-you-can-eat. I started there as a sushi chef trainee and now, i guess you can describe me as sushi chef even though i’m a bit young. yep…youngest in all sushi palace. Here’s the good news, my boss/teacher/head chef saw how passionate i am and gave me the opportunity to promote as second sushi head chef. That means…raise but responsibilities? i would have to place and decorate each plate, manage the take out, tell my assistant what sushi i need, do maths and make sure the sushi bar runs smoothly. THATS PRESSURE. Believe me. This is my second week and i’ve lost my focus so many times…i’m so stressed out. My head is already at its limit due to all my unfinished projects but I really dont want to disappoint anyone.

ahh…its 2:24am right now. Still editing a video for tomorrow’s wedding. Congrats to Y.Lang&Thieu! Always excited but looks like i’ll be sleeping 2-3hours tonight…grr…such a last minute guy…my gf used to say that to me. Guessed someone didnt changed at all. Tomorrows gear? 5dmarkII+24-104+50mm+monopod=lightweight&does the job.

Good morning =) It is now 9:36 and woke up early to clear or plan things out for 5th wedding this sunday. Congrats to Y.Lang&Thieu in advance! Will be working with two familiar photographers Zymba and Patrick on that day. Unfortunately, my old buddy, Fabio, who i went film school with, won’t be able to assist me due to heavy work schedules. Life ain’t easy, especially us independent photographers/filmmakers who have to pay our own equipment with every penny earned from work. General idea, the lens i’m using is worth 1399.99$. If your serious, you can’t spend cheap. Anyway, this reason also cause me to be broke time to time. Also, paying my own car is not fun too. This is why, i’ve been working 6days a week lately. Funny thing is, i even closed my Facebook. I’m stressed. Need to finish all my project videos ASAP.

Congrats to Pamela and Simon again! Such a beautiful wedding filled with joyful memories. Do not worry! Got that on video =) Short recap of the day. My assistant and I mistaken the groom’s house with another one that also had wedding decoration. We ran like idiots when we knew something whats wrong. Unfortunately, it was raining that day but everything still went smoothly. Everyone looked good. Beautiful church. Classy reception hall. Got to work with Guy Chan, amazing photographer, with his team. He even took his time to show me his pictures, how to get this results and tips/advices. All my questions were answered and have a better understand how photographers/videographers works. DJ Tin is a very guy and first thing he said when he saw me was: I like to see young people like you working hard. Keep it up. I’m so glad i have the chance to meet so many amazing people and share a bit of their experiences with me. The night ended up around 11:30 and that sums up around 16hours of work for me. one word. exhausted!

It’s exactly 2am right now and I should be sleeping instead. Guess that half coffee in my iced moka did it’s job…oh well…maybe it’s because I’m nervous/excited :)

Hey you!? if your reading this…guess I’m not writing this to myself =) yaya, I’ve make this tumblr a few months ago but never posted anything…sorry…but good news, from now on I WILL!!!! believe me, i’m not mr. popular/cute/handsome/smart/rich/etc. that everyone is talking about, here in montreal, but…one things for sure, I’m in the few passionate filmmaker/photographer working very hard on various projects to pursue his dream. I’m still far from my goal. And for now, I just can’t stop trying till I do.
